Welcome to Clerical Medical's international fund information which is provided for existing policyholders.

There are two types of information provided:
1. Daily fund prices
2. Monthly fund performance

Daily fund prices
Here you will find a list of all the international insurance funds ever offered by Clerical Medical through its subsidiaries CMI Insurance Company Limited or Clerical Medical and General Life Assurance Society (renamed Clerical Medical Investment Group in 1997). The list is split into Old Series funds (offered up until 1995) and New Series funds (offered since 1995).

The Old Series (Original Range) funds have two types of units - Capital and Accumulation. Your annual unit statement will tell you how many of each you currently hold and in which fund. The New Series (Second Range) funds only consist of Accumulation units. Both a bid (sell) price and an offer (buy) price is given for every fund. To calculate the value of your policy, please take the number of units and multiply by the relevant bid price e.g.

1088 units in the Passport US Equity Fund (no. 1240) would, at a bid price of 1.500, be valued at US$1,632.

Note for investments in the OWP (Offshore With-Profits) Fund and the Guaranteed Growth Funds the policy value includes the previously declared annual dividends. Depending on investment performance, either a Surrender Bonus Dividend will be added to the value of units or a Market Value Adjuster will be deducted from the value of units. This ensures that surrendering policyholders are given fair value, and that the security of the remaining policyholders is protected.

Monthly fund performance
This shows the historic performance of Clerical Medical's funds since launch. Data is given in terms of the percentage growth or loss over a selection of time periods e.g. 1 and 6 months; 1, 2, 3 and 5 years, as well as giving the annual compound return. In addition, due to investments being made in a variety of currencies, returns are given assuming the investment was made in the same currency of the fund (L.C. local currency) and in Sterling (£) and US dollars (US$).
